Walk Beyond is more than a design—it is a name given to Maxine by a Sioux elder at birth, a profound honour that carries deep cultural significance. Rooted in prophecy and purpose, Walk Beyond reflects the journey of Indigenous women stepping into a future shaped by wisdom and unity. The image was also selected for the cover and title of a book honouring Olive Dickason, further underscoring its importance.
